Your Questions About International Sim Card Prepaid

Sandra asks…

What is the best SIM Card to use for an iPhone 4S while in Canada?

In August, I’m going to be traveling to Quebec. I still want to use my iPhone while I’m there, and I don’t want to pay Sprint’s outrageous international rates. I have permission from Sprint to unlock my phone for that month, and I want something prepaid. I don’t want a monthly rate or a continued plan. Also, if possible, I’d love to be able to keep the same phone number I have in America.

Ken asks…

Does it cost anything for me to receive calls from the UK in the US?

My girlfriend is abroad for the semester in London. She bought an international SIM card for her phone, which she pays for as she goes (ie puts a prepaid balance on it and reloads as she needs to). I have verizon wireless here in the United States. I know it is expensive for me to call her, but does it cost anything for me to receive calls from her?

Pete answers:

I think after 9 pm and sunday or holiday is free. The rest of the time will cost.
I suggest you can call Verizon Wireless, they will give you a detailed answer.
If your girl friend’s cell phone didn’t cost to receive calls.I think you can buy a international calling card. You can call her.
